  I have been banking with 1st bank for 35 years. I opened my first account in Littleton, CO. I now bank at the branch on S. College Ave in Fort Collins. My credit score is around 800, and I tried to get a small loan to pay off a engagement ring. I have a truck that is payed off and worth around $16000. I have been employed since I opened my account 35 years ago.
  Since my truck is over 5 years old they told me I could not use it as collateral, and a home equity loan would take 8-10 weeks to process. Seriously? I was just trying to borrow $3500 so I could pay off the loan to avoid a high interest rate. This is poor customer service at the atomic level, I will close my account soon, they will have to provide more than donuts on Saturday morning to keep my business.
  
  Update: After posting this review, James the manager at this branch did call me and left a message/apology. I felt it was a sincere heart felt apology and he did offer to look at my loan request again if I wanted to pursue the loan application. I ended up securing the money from another source. So to be fair, I edited this post to let you know that James did try to makes things right given the circumstances.
